I specialize in creating lifelike or whimsical sculptures using polymer clay. I am mostly known for my custom recreations of dogs which I take a limited number of commissions for. If you want something special to remember your fur babies, I can make exact likenesses by hand, of your special guys. These are not machine made they are done by loving hands. They are not cheap, real art takes time, but you will love seeing them come to life in clay form. I have also begun experimenting in a new form of art, Gingerbread Art! In 2018 a friend and I entered a piece in the National Gingerbread House Competition at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. I was very pleased to see that the Food Network featured our piece in their Christmas special, Gingerbread Giants. For this holiday season I plan to create some very special pieces to sell locally.

National Gingerbread Competition 2020 TOP FIVE FINALIST

"Christmas Magic" was a Top Five Finalist for the 2020 National Gingerbread House Competition at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. The piece is made of 100% edible products with approximately 95% being constructed of baked gingerbread and gingerbread products. The entry "Christmas Magic" is a scene of Santa and his helpers at the North Pole, showing that magic moment when Santa launches all the toys and gifts toward their destinations to good little boys and girls all over the world. The age old question, "How does he do it all in one night?" can only have one answer: magic of course, and the magic is in the details! "Christmas Magic" is all about the details; the real magic is in the preparations, the anticipation, the feelings of love and caring we have for each other, warm memories from the past and the joy of being with our loved ones during this magical time of year. We hope that everyone who sees this display will be magically transported, feeling the warmth and happiness that comes with the holidays. We want children of all ages to feel the magic and love we put into every element of this creation in our effort to bring good cheer to all.

“Home Delivery” 3rd Place Winner, National Gingerbread Competition 2023

Santa is delivering BIG this year, fulfilling every good girl’s and boy’s wish. This year’s requests are so big that Santa had to enlist the help of his mightiest reindeer AND his magnificent pal, Samson, known to be the strongest elephant at the North Pole. This entry won Third Place honors at the National Gingerbread House Competition at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. This is the largest and most prestigious gingerbread competition in the country.
