I am a potter/clay artist, a photographer, and an alternative photo print artist. I seek to capture natural gestures and unusual perspectives in each aspect of my work.

Handbuilt clay vessel

This gem of a clay object was crafted using the "pinch pot" hand building method. The texture gives the appearance of a found, natural object.

Still Waiting: Civil War Wives

This photo was taken at a Bed and Breakfast in Elmira, NY that originally served as a rooming house for women visiting prisoners held at a camp nearby.

Second Thoughts

This image was produced using the alternative photo printing process known as Van Dyke Brown (due to the color of the emulsion). It is a one-of-a-kind work of art produced on heavy cotton paper.
