David earned a BFA from Mount Saint Mary’s University, and his MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. David has taught design-learning, painting, drawing, architectural drawing, and AP Art History at a number of independent schools, including the Madeira School, and Sidwell Friends School. Mr. Bottini has been a Visiting Artist and exhibit judge throughout the region. Mr. Bottini works as adjunct faculty at Frederick Community College { his 29th year}. His involvement in the arts community has included the Teacher Advisory Board of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, Museum Liaison and Chair for Kids-In-Design, a group of volunteer design professionals working with school and community organizations in Baltimore, MD. and volunteer for “Art-o-Matic” semi-annual arts event in Frederick, MD. David’s paintings have been featured in numerous publications and in many exhibits nationally. His paintings celebrate his passion for landscape and atmospheric effect.
