Invitational Fine Arts & Crafts Show Call for Entries
Columbia Festival of the Arts' LakeFest event is returning to the Columbia Lakefront June 20-22, 2025, for a spectacular celebration. Included in this not-to-be-missed free outdoor weekend is our Invitational Fine Arts & Crafts Show along with the live performances from national, regional and local artists on the LakeStage, interactive children’s activities, festival foods and fun for the entire family!
Our juried, Invitational Fine Arts & Crafts Show is currently seeking artisans with original work, representing a breadth of media including functional and wearable art to participate in this June 20-22, 2025, free outdoor weekend in Columbia, Maryland. DON’T MISS this opportunity to showcase your original artwork.
To be considered for entry into the Fine Arts and Crafts Show, please:
Complete the required fields in the following form and submit it electronically. You will be prompted to submit the form on page 2. Note that you cannot submit the form without the required fields filled out, and your progress will not be saved until you submit the form. Therefore, please read through page 2 to ensure you have all of the required information at-hand before starting. Once you submit the form, you will receive a confirmation email with your responses.
You will also need to submit a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) digital images of your ORIGINAL work for review, along with an image of your booth display (if available). If you submit more than five (5) images, only the first 5 submissions will be considered.
Non-Refundable $275 Show Fee upon juried acceptance into the show. ($200 if NFPA 701 Fire Code Certified tent is provided by artist)* Additional $50 Fee if Electricity Requested, available on a limited basis. All artists are responsible for providing any display fixtures, tables, signage, etc. Artists invited into the show will be required to participate for all 3 days; no exceptions will be made.
*Fee includes the rental of one (1) NFPA 701 Fire Code Certified 10’x10′ tent. If using your own NFPA 701 Fire Code Certified 10’x10′ tent (Certification proof is required), you will receive a $75 credit towards the show fee, reducing it to $200.

The Washington County Arts Council, Inc. is funded by an operating grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, (MSAC), an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. An agency of the Department of Business & Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to nonprofit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities. Funding for the MSAC is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, which believes that a great nation deserves great art. Additional funding is also provided by Washington County Government and generous businesses, organizations and individuals.
