The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture requests entries from artists in the DMV region for the 53rd Annual Labor Day Art Show, a Glen Echo Park tradition that features a wide range of local artists and brings thousands of art enthusiasts and collectors/buyers to the Park every year. Held August 31 – September 2, 2024 in the historic Spanish Ballroom, Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, MD, with a public opening reception on August 30.

The mission of Glen Echo Park Partnership Galleries is to showcase distinctive work that represents the diversity of our region and introduces gallery visitors to a wide range of artistic mediums. We exhibit the work of Glen Echo Park resident artists as well as numerous artists from the greater Washington, D.C. area.

In the past, the show has featured work from more than 300 artists from the greater Washington, DC area and has attracted more than 4,000 visitors during its run. The display features a wide range of media, including sculpture, paintings, works on paper, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, photography, and furniture.

Awards: $250 cash prizes for top works in the 2D and 3D categories; a 2025 solo exhibition in Park View Gallery.

Open to all artists with original works created within the last two years. All works must be for sale and submissions must reflect the work that you will be exhibiting in the Labor Day Art Show. All artwork must be your own and must not have been entered in a prior Labor Day Art Show.
