Washington County Arts Council, Inc. continues to take the lead in bringing together the community’s art organizations and to strengthen our region’s arts culture.
 
SAGE Policy’s 2023 Report highlighted the Arts Council’s role as the strategic leader in enhancing the public’s awareness and engagement with the rich diversity of arts and entertainment available throughout the county and surrounding communities.

It is your annual membership that supports multiple arts organizations, students, and artists while enriching the lives and spirit of all who live in Western Maryland.  Thank you.
 
In addition to support for a multitude of concerts, education programs, the Maryland Theater and the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, the Arts Council this year has established annual art scholarships for those pursuing post high school education/training.
 
And, of course, the Arts Council’s Artist Alley electronic newsletter and social media keep you in the know about all Western Maryland’s vibrant cultural events.

An agency of the Department of Business & Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to nonprofit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities.
