Jannon is a visual artist with a passion for dance. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from Shepherd University. As a freelance painter, Jannon has displayed artwork in Baltimore and Western Maryland. Recent exhibitions have included the Himmelfarb Gallery at Maryland University for Integrative Health (formerly Tai Sophia) of Laurel, Expanding Heart Center Gallery of Frederick, and Washington County Arts Council Gallery of Hagerstown. She is currently accepting commissions for paintings. As a dance and movement facilitator Jannon offers classes and workshops in the community. She has studied many styles over the years including ballet, modern, Latin, West African dance, tribal belly dance, Bharathanatyam, Odissi classical dance, and Rajasthani folk dance. She gives a bow of gratitude to her many beloved teachers. Jannon enjoys combining meditative practices with dance as an offering for healing, connecting to the present, and embracing rich traditions of cultural art forms. Jannon aims to allow space for others to touch the essence of the divine within their own unique expression and to be joyful creators in the present moment. Jannon is Reiki Level I and II certified in the Usui Ryoho tradition. She offers distant healing reiki session upon request.
