WCAC Vendor Opportunity
2024 Holiday Pop Up Shop
Vendor Opportunity:
The Washington County Arts Council, Inc. (WCAC) has applied, been accepted, and paid for vendor space at the Holiday Pop Up Shop in the building at 60 W Washington Street beside University Plaza.
Eligibility:
Artists living in the state of Maryland or within 100 miles of Hagerstown.
Application Selection Requirements:
To be considered for selection, artists must submit the application and hold harmless agreement. One artist will be selected to participate.
Artworks:
Art must be small to medium and sit or lay on a table. Examples include, but are not limited to, jewelry, pottery, textiles, notecards,
Selection:
Once selected, the Gallery Manager will offer the opportunity. The artist(s) will secure the spot by submitting a check for $25.00 made out to the Washington County Arts Council. The check will be returned to the artist once they have arrived and set up for the shop.
Sales:
A 30% commission will be retained by WCAC on all sales of artworks during the event.

The Washington County Arts Council, Inc. is funded by an operating grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, (MSAC), an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. An agency of the Department of Business & Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to nonprofit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities. Funding for the MSAC is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, which believes that a great nation deserves great art. Additional funding is also provided by Washington County Government and generous businesses, organizations and individuals.
